Summary
|
The
author does an amazing job describing a approaching storm. A little boy hears the wind blowing
stronger and lightning in the sky. He
asks his mother what it is. She
explains to the little boy what is happening and the cause. Across town a young man in the city looks
down below and the author describes the effect of the storm there. The storm also affects a fisherman at sea
and a husband and his wife in the mountains.
The storm comes to an end, and the little boy asks his mother what is
in the sky. The sun is shining and a
beautiful rainbow is all that remains from the storm.

This

It could also be used in Science when learning about weather.
