Summary
|
Ma and
Pa had promised little May that she could visit her Grandma Mary who lived
away in the mountains. It was a
difficult time, and Ma and Pa had no money.
May tried to get a job, but she was too young. Her Pa had an idea. He would mail her. After speaking with the post office to find
out about rules and regulations, May was mailed for only fifty-three
cents. She saw so many wonderful sites
on her travel before safely arriving at Grandma Mary’s.
